However challenging and difficult this may be, we’re going to have to deal with the issue of Divine Action (how God acts in the world).

We avoid this topic at our own risk and peril. The credibility of theism and the Christian faith is on the line. Considering what we’re starting to understand about nature, there’s no way that the old majority view of DA; God continually overriding nature to answer our prayers and meet our desires can stand. If not, then what? I’m working on it and hope you will too. Superstition – hocus pocus, which often dominates in Christian circles, won’t do when it comes to formulating a legitimate account of DA.
