The ZigZag Café

We will be convening here at the ZigZag café, Suisse, on Thursdays for conversation and dialogue. I invite you to stop by every Thursday for the question of the day. Your thoughts and participation are most welcome. Pull up a stool, avec un café, un thé, ou un chocolat chaud, et un croissant, and join in here on Thursday at the ZZ café.

For today:

There seems to be a widespread interest in something called survivalism. Stocking up food, water, and ammo – finding a safe place because the political, social, and economic fabric of the West is coming apart and this means big time danger. What are your thoughts about the world as we know it coming to an end?

The Zombie apocalypse is just around the bend. All the governments are preparing for it, especially the US'sCenter for Disease Control and Prevention. And no library is complete without the <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0811861368/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_3/192-8900312-3098851?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_r=1P6Z7PWQ4FS5GDDN7PMV&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_i=0071440534>The Complete Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook.

Joshua,
Thanks. Good suggestions. Survivalism has become a hugely popular matter of interest for many in Europe. Just recently on the Swiss news they reported on a guy who was stocking up all necessities in a hideout - enough to last a couple of years - and his book is a best seller. Survivre.
