We will be convening here at the ZigZag café, Suisse, on Thursdays for conversation and dialogue.
I invite you to stop by every Thursday for the question of the day. Your thoughts and participation are most welcome. Pull up a stool, avec un café, un thé, ou un chocolat chaud, et un croissant, and join in here on Thursday at the ZZ café.
For today:
How do you see imagination pertaining to your belief in God?

I have been forever transformed by Greg Boyd's Seeing is Believing: Experience Jesus Through Imaginative Prayer.
It's basically Ingatian in approach...I often ask the Holy Spirit to sanctify my imagination, I then find myself on the boat with Peter, I hear a splash, I jump in after Peter swimming towards the voice on the beach...It's Jesus...we sit, we eat..."Yes Jesus, I love you..."

jazz theologian,
Thanks for mentioning this book. I've read and appreciated some of Boyd's books and will have to check this one out.
I like the thought of a sanctified imagination - opens up new and creative possibilities for loving Jesus and others.
